A small custom designed website for a local Geelong used car business with good old fashioned customer service.
The Clients Brief
After getting burned by an overseas company, which never ended up building the website, Don got in touch with Masters of Digital, explaining all that’s happened throughout the process, and how every draft they’ve sent through did not match his brief at all, nor his company. Don wanted a website that truly reflected his business motto, where he would also be able to list all his used cars for sale, as well as his sold cars.
Don wanted to make sure the website would be easy to use for him to add cars later on. As part of his brief, he wanted the website to be clear & warm making sure every service can easily be found, whilst making sure customers can always contact him no matter what page or service they are on.
How We Helped
After collecting all the necessary information, photos and services, We began building the website as per Don’s website brief, making sure customers could easily navigate it.
We made sure previous customers’ photos were displayed throughout the website, and car listings were present on the homepage without having to scroll too far down the page. Following that, we made sure his address and contact details were displayed on every page, and also built a custom form for each car listing, so if customers were interested in that specific car, the form would let Don know when customers submitted it.
Next, we made sure customers were aware Don is located in Geelong, and that he’s also a VACC Accredited Used Car Dealer, so customers could have peace of mind when reaching out to his company. We achieved that by adding a “Why Choose Us” section on the homepage, and also mentioning it in sections of the website customers are most likely to stop and read.
For his website, Don also wanted customers to be able to get finance online straight from his website, so we’ve incorporated a smart custom built form where clients could input all their necessary details, and then this form gets sent to multiple receivers who will then go through the submitted information. All of this straight from his website, without the need to physically go to his showroom or office.
During development, we also made sure creating a new car sale on his website would be easy and intuitive, and sure enough, after the website was launched, Don wasted no time adding few more cars on his own!
Don loved the end result and left us a great review on our business listing on Google.
