A fully custom designed website for a crane hire specialist in country Victoria.
The Clients Brief
Quicklift contacted Masters of Digital explaining all of the existing issues he had in regards to using, updating and maintaining their Joomla website. Part of the project was to replatform the website to WordPress to make it easier to update and requiring minimal maintenance when compared to Joomla.
Quicklift wanted to be able to add new pages to his website as well as content as a part of marketing, and WordPress makes this easier to achieve.
How We Helped
We began with a website planning session, where we spent a day to understand everything Quicklift does, what goals they’ve achieved and what the next objectives are, how they operate, the crane industry and the different types of cranes, as well as the type of clients who engage Quicklift.
Next, we wireframed the website and created concepts, ensuring that all the information from the website planning session was incorporated into the design and structure of their new website, making sure all of their services had individual pages and were clearly laid out, along with reasons throughout pages why businesses and customers should choose Quicklift, showcasing their experience, knowledge, capabilities etc. During the initial website planning session we also outlined the importance of having recently completed projects showcased on the website, so customers are able to see just how Quicklift operates.
We then created individual crane pages, making sure all the necessary information was easy to find, as well as having videos and downloadable technical pdfs for each crane, so customers are fully aware on what type of crane they need, and when contacting Quicklift, a form was placed on each service and crane page so no extra navigating would be necessary. Enquire directly from the page you’re on.
Content writing was also an inclusion for this website, to satisfy both Google and their customers, and Quicklift was given the content brief for the entire website to proof before we began the process.
Throughout development, we also added further service pages other than crane hire that Quicklift provides, such as rigging, electrical spotters and lift planning. Many crane hire companies offer these services, and by promoting them as a separate service on their website, it positions Quicklift as the industry expert.
